HIIT Treadmill Workout

Yesterday I tried a new HIIT workout.

On the treadmill. And I loved every second of it. I even told my mom I wish I had room for a treadmill in my apartment… After my first half (all training was done on a treadmill) I absolutely DESPISED running on the treadmill. I could not even make it .25 mile. It was sad.

I am here to tell you I went a full 20 minutes yesterday ;)

The thing with HIIT is you put in hard ass work for 20 minutes (or a short period of time) instead of putting in work for 60 minutes. So I was running at a 10 speed, resting, running at 9 speed, resting, etc.

HIIT TREADMILL WORKOUT:
0-2:30 = 6
2:30-5 = 6.5
5-5:30 = 9
5:30-7 = 5
7-7:30 = 9
7:30-9 = 5
9-9:30 = 9.5
9:30-11 = 5
11-11:30 = 9.5
11:30-13 = 5
13-13:30 = 10
13:30-15 = 5
15-20 = 6.5


20 minutes of running. Around 2 miles. You will burn fat ALL. DAY. LONG.
